I felt like it'd been a long time since I talked about my Mission 101 list. And it has been since October...
Anyway, here are some updates from the last two months:
Completed
14 - Watch 50 previously unseen movies
18 - Read a trashy romance novel
53 - Learn to whistle with two fingers
56 - Save up for and buy a macbook pro
92 - Try five new-to-me foods
95 - Go bowling
In progress'd:
8 - Organize my photots
11 - Clean my room
19 - Read five new-to-me banned books [I'm almost done with one--50 pages to go]
22 - Read 50 books [I'm reading like five books right now, or something insane like that]
69 - Do a group drawing of all of the characters in every game I play completion [I'm almost done with Arc 3 Crew]
84 - Reach rank 20 in Warhammer [I think I'm at rank 8 right now?]
94 - Be a Secret Santa [I'm hopefully casting on later tonight]

I am so close to done with this year's NaNoWriMo! I've got about 3.5 thousand words left, and have the rest of today, plus Sunday and Monday to finish it!
I started using my outline as more of a.. loose guideline about a week and a half ago. I have yet to get them to the city, even. I honestly thought I would have gotten then there.. several thousand words ago, really. But no, they're still walking... :/
I plan on posting another entry when I finish up, whenever that ends up being. :3
John just finished earlier today. I'm so proud of him! :)
46515 / 50000 words. 93% done!

Ok, so last time I waiting until I actually had the book in my hand before I complained about no one having it, like a billion people came up and were like, "Oh yeah, I own that." -sigh-
So, before I look any further:
Does anyone have a copy of Sandman they are willing to let me borrow and read?
(As opposed to borrowing and feeding, of course.)
Basically everyone I know has been telling me to read this series since I mentioned that I might possibly have some sort of interest in comics, but then when I say that I haven't read them, they just go, "Oh. Well go read them then." Not exactly helpful. I don't think that my library has them, though I honestly haven't checked that thoroughly. I have, however, read most of the books in the graphic novels section. They just happen to be almost entirely manga.
Either way, I wanna read them but I don't wanna buy them before I know if I like them or not. And I know that basically everyone tells me that I will love them forever. They told me that about American Gods, too, though, and I honestly wouldn't buy the book. It wasn't bad, but I don't think it deserved all the hype people gave it. -shrug-
If no one owns it, I'm probably not gonna get to read it, because I couldn't find a good torrent of it. And, like I said, I'm not gonna spend money on something that I don't even know if I'll like.

Hello again.
Wow, two posts in a row, now. Aren't we special.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I've officially registered for next semester; considerably more in advance than last semester. n__n''
Anyway, this is what my schedule will look like for next semester:
Mondays:
9:00 am - 10:05 am: Introductory Algebra (MATH 0070)
10:30 am - 11:45 am: College English (ENGL 1110)
Tuesday:
9:00 am - 10:05 am: Introductory Algebra (MATH 0070)
10:30 am - 11:45 am: Public Speaking (SPCH 1005)
12:00 pm - 2:15 pm: Drawing 1 (ARTS 1121)
Wednesday:
9:00 am - 10:05 am: Introductory Algebra (MATH 0070)
10:30 am - 11:45 am: College English (ENGL 1110)

12:00 pm - 2:15 pm: Drawing 1 (ARTS 1121)
Friday
No classes!
I'm pretty excited for the next semester. I get to buy a ton of art supplies for drawing 1, which will be awesome. Also, once I complete drawing 1, I can take life drawing, which I've wanted to do since I was a little kid. :)
(Side note: Hooooooly shit, there are a bunch of those people who like... are trying to be hipsters who eat tons of organic food and think cars are products of Satan behind me. They're talking very loudly, and they expanded their table, so they keep walking in to me/my chair/my table. I want to tell them that they're not special and they need to be polite, just like everyone else. But I won't, because I'm a baby. :( )

I feel like I should post more often, but then I don't. Good story, hmm?
Anyway. I've been having an extremely frustrating evening. My main concern, at the moment, is Twitterrific. That program needs to fucking die. Seriously. All it does it pop up every five or ten minutes or so. It's set to go above all of the other windows, and, for some reason, it doesn't scroll up automatically, but it updates automatically. And, since I'm new to mac, I don't know how to delete programs. It's really fucking annoying. I also can't quit or force quit it, because it doesn't appear in any lists of running applications. I want to kill it dead.
Also pissing me off this evening is that I can't get a hold of John. I'm happy that he goes out and hangs out with hid friends, yanno? But I can't get through to him almost at all when he does. It basically doesn't matter what I do. He either doesn't notice when I text or call him, or he ignores it. And sometimes, as a bonus, he accidentally answers when he ignores calls. He hasn't done it since he got the phone he has now, but it was really upsetting.
And, the thing that's pissing me off the most this evening: our desktop computer has been completely wiped clean. Yep. Not a thing on it. All those images, comics, drawings and icons that I've been collecting since my computer crashed nearly two months ago? Gone. All my bookmarks and webcomics saved on my user's firefox? Yeah, gone, too. Never gonna see them again. All because my stupid fucking brother decided he had to go look at some fucking porn online, even though both Hannah and my mom have told him to fucking stop, because he's downloaded viruses before. This time, he crashed the entire computer and made the whole thing unusable. Last time we at least got to get our things off of it. I am so fucking pissed off at Jack. I want to punch him in the fucking face, but it wouldn't be even close to enough. Fuck him, and fuck his being a rude, irresponsible little prick. And he still has the nerve to ask me to do shit for him and loan him money all the time! I know that he's the one who stole my gameboys and my camera. Now I have to keep all my valuables on me all the fucking time. It's really annoying.
</ranting>
Anyway.
My birthday is on Friday. I will be twenty, finally. On Thursday, my dad and stepmom are taking me and John out for a birthday lunch/dinner thing. I'm not sure where I want to eat, though. I mean, I'm pretty sure I want Fuddruckers, but I pick that every year and my dad always teases me. I might just pick it anyway, since I only ever have in on my birthday, since only me and my dad and stepmom like it. They don't have many vegetarian options, and Jack's a whiny bitch and doesn't like anything. -sigh-
Then on Friday, John and I are gonna make some kind of noms together, and then we're gonna to meet up with Anthony and Gwen (and Mike, whenever he gets there) and hang out, instead of game. I decided that I don't really want to game on my birthday, so I'm not gonna. I also decided that my actual birthday party thing isn't going to be until probably the weekend after Thanksgiving, so that Laura can come, too. <3 Even though most of the people I'm inviting to that are gonna be there on Friday anyway. Whatever.
Also, NaNoWriMo is going good. I'm basically on track with the "real" word count, and I haven't fallen behind my adjusted word count at all. (I have two days where I'm not obligating myself to write.) At this rate, the DS will be mine. -evil laugh-
I feel like I was going to write about something else, but I don't know what. Whatever, long entry is already long.
The end.

So, NaNoWriMo started about 15 hours ago (including Daylight Savings Time). I've already made and passed my word goal for the day! I'm at 2,196. Realistically, I'm probably close to done for the day. John is letting me use his computer to meet my goal, sine he's super nice and I haven't gotten mine yet, but he does really want to use it himself. :3
We stayed up until nearly 2 (the first two a.m.), writing. I set one alarm on my phone for 11.59, so we could get our writing things out, and then I set another one for 12.00, so we could start writing exactly at midnight. It was neat.
Me, John and Anthony are at the library near my house, at a write-in. It's kind of... creepy quiet. D: We keep making faces at each other and stuff. :P
My prizes for this month are as follows:
If I finish my story, but don't reach 50k, I will buy myself a new ear piercing.
If I reach 50k words, but fall behind at one or more points in the month, I'll buy myself a digital camera. Just a cheap point-and-click one, but I desperately want one.
If I reach 50k and stay on track all month, I'm buying myself a Nintendo DS and one game to go with it, to replace the one that was stolen from my bedroom.
Wish me luck!

Starts soon! :D
I'm prepping for it much more than I did last year. By which I mean... I'm prepping for it.
Also, I can't find the word count meter I used last year anywhere. It's so frustrating! Arrrrgh. So I found this one, instead:
I have to modify my daily word goal, cause I have two days that I'm not obligating myself to write. The second and the thirteenth. Thirteenth is spelled really ugly. Anyway, I have to write 1,786 wpd, rather than 1,667. I think I can do it.
Holy shit, writing in Rich Text is fucking weird. I usually write in the HTML version soI can write my own coding.
Also, I'm going to the graveyard on the second. I haven't visited it yet. I'm not sure how I'm gonna do, honestly.

That was kind of.. sexist. Oh well, I guess I should have expected that.
Also it seems to be aimed at more.. girly-girls or jocks.
(For the record, Ivan almost cried while watching The Notebook, too. And that's kind of a big deal.)

Today is the 365th out of my 1001 days.
This means that I'm 36% done with the time I've been given.
I'm also 31% with all of the goals I have chosen.
I'm doing pretty well for myself!
( Cut for list analysis! )
Here's to the next 636 days! Cheers!

This is getting to be just too much.
I started knitting recently, as just about everyone knows. I love it. It's so much fun, and you get a great product out at the end. I've also been learning faster than the average person. I also tend to knit to the gauge given in the pattern just about every time--I haven't had to change switch which needles I use, or do any terribly complicated math to figure out stitches and such.
While I have been going to this knitting group and having a great time, "Someone" was telling me that I was doing a great job, and learning to well, and turning out great projects. Apparently, she's been telling everyone else that my knitting to gauge and such won't last, because I've only chosen "easy projects."
What the fuck.
Seriously. I don't understand how this is an acceptable thing to do. Makes no sense to me.
And anyway, the only reason she's "better" than me is because she's been knitting for like three times as long! If I had basically unlimited funds to buy needles, yarn and patterns, I'd be doing all kinds of amazing shit. As it is, I have to stick to free patterns and yarn that people give me, for the most part.
Either way, I can already do things that she can't. I'll just bring my amazing colorwork gloves to knitting next week. Then we'll see who's picking "easy patterns."
Edit: I have learned something new every project I've done:
Scarf: Learned to knit
Hat: Learned buttonholes, and to work in the round
Calorimetry: Learned short rows
Fetching (armwarmers): Learning cables and thumbholes
Musica (armwarmers): Learning colorwork

My 365th day in my 101 list is coming up soon: October 4, to be exact. I plan to post on that day with all kinds of fun crap, but that day is not today. So, here's some other stuff:
Yesterday, I completed goal #36: Give blood.
( Cut for the weak of heart. )
I don't go into much detail, but I'm gonna cut it, just in case.
Also, it's fucking cold. We're getting late-November weather, here. Ok, maybe early November. But still! It's not even October yet! Nyaaaaargh!

So, while we did character creation last week, we didn't really do anything. This week, we actually started the campaign.
We didn't actually get to gaming until almost 7. Mike was late, then we just kinda.. hung out for a little while.
We started out in a tavern, because we're awesome. Mike's character was telling everyone about a dragon he had supposedly killed, John's was trying to be all noble and paladin-ey, Gwen's was looking for someone to steal from (I think), and mine was looking for somewhere to "stay" for the night. We ended up grouping up as some suspicious guys came into town. Mike decided they were evil-doers, and convinced John that they had to be stopped! John told me that it was my duty as a cleric to help, so we tracked them. I think Gwen hid.. under their wagon or something?
There were like 20 guards, but we really wanted to find out what was hidden in their wagons. Ten of them were sleeping, 10 of them were actually standing guard. So, we grabbed ten of my harlot friends to distract the awake guards, but only seven of the guards went. So Mike ran off and set a barn on fire, so they'd all run off over there, which basically worked. John tried to blend in with the other guards, while I sneaked in to the barn that was holding the wagons to see what was inside.
I found one wagon full of various jugs of liquid things. I poured some of one into a vial I had on me. In the next one was something mega-heavy and hard wrapped in brown paper, with a wagon all to itself. Then in the third one was actual trade goods--clothing, jewelry, small trinkets, etc. I ran into Gwen at this wagon, and we both stole some neat-lookin' stuff. Then someone came down from the ceiling, so we scattered. John got questioned, and managed to give the guy the answers we wanted to give him without actually telling any lies. It was kind of awesome.
Then we heard some screaming in the woods, where my whore friends were. So we ran off over there, and saw that one of them was on the ground, bleeding from stab-wounds, while all the guys were standing there naked and had been round up by two other guards that had come to, as Mike or John said, break up the party. I got to heal for the first time! :D
Then we went back to town, the four of us on two horses. We were arrested, because they had no way to prove we weren't the cause of all the stuff that went down. (We were totally the cause of it. :D ) I talked my way out of being stuck in a jail cell all night. So did Mike. John, even though he was completely honest, was held. So was Gwen, though she was less honest.
Then Mike started a protest in the morning.
And then... We started talking to this rich guy, and found out the wagon with the big thing wrapped in paper had gone missing! Oh noes. So we were helping him look for it, until he told us he didn't want to be associated with us. Then we went to look on our own.
And then, at the end of the session, the mayor put a kill order out on Lugos (the right guy). So we're actually in the middle of a fight. We're protecting him, because, as far as we can tell, he's a good guy? We're not really sure what's going on. I tried to disarm someone, but totally failed. I got like a seven. >.<''
So yeah. This group is really, really fun. It was pretty much awesome last night. It was my first time gaming with Mike, and I can see why everyone was so excited to have him in the group.
Also, the people in our group have really strange names. I can't remember them off the top of my head, but they're pretty weird.
I got like a seven. >.<''

Ok. For starters, my dad is kind of a jerk.
He is supposed to give me mom 200 dollars a week in child support for me and my younger brother and sister. He'd been really good about it for the last ten years.
A couple of weeks ago, my little sister, Ellie, moved in with my dad full-time, because she couldn't handle living with my brother, who is also kind of a jerk. So, my dad talked to my mom and told her, "I'm not paying child support anymore. You've got one kid, and I've got one kid." Apparently, I don't count as his child anymore, since I'm over 18. (Yes, I know you only legally have to pay child support until the kid is 18. It's more the way he said it than anything.)
The issues with this:
1 - It's illegal. But, my mom can't afford a lawyer, and my brother (who still lives with us) is going to be 18 in February, so by the time everything got sorted out, it wouldn't matter anyway.
2 - It's not like it's just my mom and Jack, my brother, living at home. It's my mom, my older sister, Jack and me. We've got one person--my mom--bringing income into the house, paying for the lot of us. My dad and his fiance/wife thing both bring manager's salaries into their evil suburban home.
So, my mom told me today that, starting October 1, I have to start paying 200$ a month in rent. Which really sucks, because I'm living at home. -sigh- Also, I don't have a job. I'm looking for one, but I don't have one yet, so I don't have any money to pay this rent with.
On top of all this, my computer crashed beyond repair a couple of weeks ago. I need one for school, also for things like video editing and coloring lineart, etc. I'm buying a new one with my student loan, but I won't have much left after that.
So, here's the deal.
I'm opening commissions.
Prices are as follows:
~ a penciled commission, mailed to your home (or apartment, or P.O. box, whatever), will be seven (7) dollars.
~ Lineart, done via the computer, will be ten (10) dollars. I will email the high-rez copy to you for you to do with what you will. Except, yanno, the obvious, like resell it.
~ Full color, computer commissions will be fifteen (15) dollars. I will also email the high-rez version of these to you.
I have a paypal, but I'm honestly not certain how to use it. If someone could help me with that, even if they aren't buying a commission, it would be greatly appreciated.
If you're interested in buying a commission, please leave a comment.
These will most likely be open for quite a while, since I'll need money for quite a while..
Thank you.
Note: I am taking digital commissions, but I won't be able to work on them for a couple of weeks, until I get my new computer.

Ok.
Y'all ready for this?

That's about how I feel about today. Started out crappy, stayed crappy. Actually, no. It started out really wonderfully, then got crappy and stayed crappy until I got home a little while ago. Now I'm mostly feeling better.
...Mostly.
I agree that things could have been handled better, by just about everyone. I felt really attacked, which really (obviously) upset me, even though it was mostly a misunderstanding (and the actual attack got apologized profusely for). I vented at John, cried a bit, vented at Annalee, and wrote about two pages of venting and a lot of swearing and being generally mad at everyone. So I feel mostly better.
Also, I finally had money at school today. And you know what? They were out of chocolate pie. I was really upset.
Right now, I basically want ice cream, a movie, and to curl up with John.

We started a new campaign yesterday! ..Kinda. We did character creation for a new campaign. John's playing a Paladin, Gwen's playing a rogue, Mike's playing a bard who thinks/believes he's a monster hunter, and I'm playing a former brothel worker who got her life saved by some religious person and is now trying her damnedest to be a cleric, which I've never played before. I've never played a caster in D&D before at all, actually. It'll be really fun.
Mike had to leave at 7, though, so we didn't actually get any gaming done. But it was fun anyway.
Also, I made piroshki for everyone. They were so good! I'm totally making some of those again.
My mommy took me and Ellie to see 9 today! It was really fun! It's pretty and sweet. Ellie cried, I think.
Also, I got the leftover monies from my school's financial aid/FAFSA stuff, which is awesome. After I pay my mom back for books, I'll totally have enough money to like.. buy a pair of winter boots. And such. I'm pretty excited, which I know is really dorky. But whatever.
I'm going to a baseball game tomorrow! It's stitch-and-pitch. I'm going with my knitting group + Ellie. I'm really excited, actually. :) Then I'm gonna go hang out with John afterwords and add pockets to my duct-tape bag, assuming I can figure out how. I added a couple buttons yesterday! It makes me happy!
